- Aerial images over the past four years have been taken from drones. Standard topographic surveys have been replaced by aero photogrammetry from drone images and/or laser surveys
- No major damage to the repaired section was observed after the 2014 Iquique earthquake

Whitesand First Nation Shoreline Stabilization

Baird was retained to complete the planning, design and construction services to protect 1,400 metres of eroding shoreline on Whitesand First Nation traditional land, located on the north shore of Lake Nipigon. The design consisted of an armour stone revetment and slope stabilization.
