NSW Nearshore Wave Model and Forecast System
New South Wales, Australia
Baird was commissioned (in partnership with Manly Hydraulics Laboratory) by The New South Wales Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) to develop a state-wide nearshore wave transformation tool capable of providing long-term wave hindcasts, forecasts, and design conditions.
Cayman Islands Cruise Berthing Facility
George Town, Cayman Islands
The Cayman Islands Government is considering the construction of a major cruise berthing facility in George Town Harbour, including two piers, dredging and land reclamation works. Baird was retained by the CIG to undertake a comprehensive environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) study for the proposed project.
